I grew up basically feral on the back of a spirited, spotted horse. I rode all over the plains of Colorado and found inspiration in scuffed knees and dirty hands as I studied every animal I could find, catch and maybe cuddle. This love of animals drove me into the field of being a Veterinary Technician, a groomer, a kennel tech, a ranch hand, and eventually a professional dog trainer. Always there were my paintings, in the background, made in tiny stolen moments of a very busy life.
